The difference between the hanafi fiqh and the maliki fiqh

Question: what is the difference between the hanafi fiqh and the maliki fiqh?

Answer: there are many differences in the details of fiqh - too many to be mentioned here. Among them in the topic of prayer, for example, are that Malikis don't say Aameen (even silently), and that they put their hands on their sides (not under the navel). One major difference in methodology is that Malikis consider the habits of the people of Medinah as a proof of what is prescribed and what is not.

... and Allah knows best.
