Question: Is Playstation haram especially the football games where they replicate the looks of the players as they are in real life?
Answer: There is no respect given to the pictures on the screen, and noone worhips pictures on TV. I know of scholars that have televisions to watch news and the like. Based on this the pictures on the TV are not very problematic. I heard one scholar names them "electronic shadows". However, spending time on playing any type of game needs to have a respected Islamic benefit, such as training one's body or mind.
