Question: Why do Hanafis say it is makruuh to recit the Quran out of order in prayers, when there are hadiths from the Prophet(May Allah bless him and give him peace) that he recited in order diffrent than order that it is in now and even skipped suras.
Answer: The order of the Quran is revelation based, and the Hanafis hated reciting in a different order in obligatory prayers, not other prayers. What has been related about reciting in a different order is from the time before the order was settled. It was related from Ibn Mas^uud that he was asked about someone reciting Quran in opposite order, and he said "his heart is upside down." It was also related that the Prophet heard Bilaal skipping between suurahs while reciting and he prevented him from doing that.
